A friend of mine bought this game a week or so ago, and I just got around to playing it this evening.
I'm not going to beat around the bush here. This game is far too easy. The very first time I picked up a controller and played it I beat the comp. 107 to zip on the highest difficulty. I used Ohio State, and I was playing against LSU. I ran the same 3 offensive plays over and over, and scored at will. Every time the comp. threw a pass I intercepted it for 6 points. I'm not even that good at these football games, and I don't understand what's so great about them. They claim their realism is incredible, but I don't recall seeing anyone win a football game by 107 points in my lifetime...

Agreed. Thats the problem with a lot of todays sports games. They focus to much on realistic graphics with oohs and aahhs, and forget to make a actual good and challenging game underneath it all. Before all the amazing graphics, aports games HAD to have actual good gameplay to thrive and survive. Perfect example, IMO, are the early 2d Madden games.
