So yeah, I just had the pleasure of viewing what is the British equivalent to Jackass. I never did catch much of the show when it aired here in the U.S. as Team Sanchez. I am a huge fan of the antics of Johnny Knoxville and the crew, although I was more into the movies than the actual TV show. Granted, there can be comparisons between the two and this has created some arguments, but I think that DS delivers its own wicked brand of humor. Whereas, Jackass uses outlandish stunts to obtain laughs, DS depends more on torture. The humor stems form the fact that these characters are actual fucking hooligans who enjoy getting wasted and doing stupid things. This reaches me on a very personal level for I indulge myself in the excellence of mindless entertainment to the extreme, plus I love their accents. Anyway, I can't think of much to say other than I'm glad Dimension released the movie here in the States because MTV hasn't realeased any DVDs over here that I know of.
