Squirm
Directed by Jeff Lieberman
Starring: Dan Scardino, Patricia Pearcy, R.A. Dows, Jean Sullivan, and Peter MacLean
Released in 1976 by American International Pictures.

Nature run amok, a familiar theme in horror. This offering from the director of Blue Sunshine is a fine example. When downed power lines bring bloodthirsty flesh- eating worms out from the ground, sending them into a wild rage. This makes things very hard for the residents of Fly Creek. Especially for Geri (Pearcy) and her visiting city boyfriend mick (Scardino) who get caught up in the middle of it. Skeletons start popping up, people start dying, will this wriggily madness ever end? Underrated and underapreciated, this film lost much respect when it was featured on the wildly popular Mystery Science Theatre 3000. This film is quite enjoyable, with decent effects, and better than horrible acting. Not a classic, but definatley worth it to seek out. Don't let others fool you, this is indeed a GOOD movie.
