The Creepy Classics site has leaked the news that Sony is developing a box set of Sam Katzman horror/sci-fi titles for Halloween, consisting of ZOMBIES OF MORA TAU, CREATURE WITH THE ATOM BRAIN, THE GIANT CLAW and THE WEREWOLF. Extras will consist of one chapter of the MYSTERIOUS ISLAND serial and a couple of short subjects.
Fox, meanwhile, has a Halloween box set of its own, consisting of CHANDU THE MAGICIAN (with Lugosi), THE UNDYING MONSTER, THE LODGER, HANGOVER SQUARE and MAN HUNT. Some or all of these will have commentaries, and a short documentary on Laird Cregar will be included.
