Basically I wanted to know what everybody thinks is the GORIEST movie to date, I mean stuff like "Story of Ricki", "Dead Alive", "Premutos", etc.  No "well they stabbed this guy and it was real cool" kinda stuff. It does not matter what genre, european splatter movies, japanese ultraviolence, classics, you name it, I consider myself a huge Gorehound and I need to keep feeding my collection.
Mine is probably "Ichi the killer", but there are so many it is just hard to decide.

Well, Omi, you already mentioned what I would consider the goriest movie ever made, Dead-Alive. Some of the best gore ever shot! But I would add Evil Dead 2 to the list, the displays of bloody carnage, though often ridiculous, are easily some of the best, some of my favorite scenes being Ash sawing off his hand, the blood fountain from the wall, and the death of Jake.
As for other exceptionally bloody movies ( I love them too), some worthy recommendations are Re-Animator, Blood Feast, and The Gates Of Hell.

Dead Alive/Brainded is the goriest movie i've seen. The region 2 DVD release under the title Braindead has even more gore and extra scenes than the Dead Alive version. Others worth noting are:
Cannibal Ferox.
Cannibal Holocaust.
Beyond The Darkness.
Day Of The Dead.
The Beyond.
Dawn Of The Dead
also the Re-animator films.

It depends on what you consider gore. They said "Dead Alive", I didn't consider that film to be that gore-laden, maybe because the color of the blood, or the over-use of it. I'm much more grossed-out by Ferox.

The goriest movie I have ever seen is probably 'Guinea Pig Vol.3: Flower of flesh and blood' and didn't like it one bit.
But last saturday I watched 'Untold Story' and THAT was good! Great movie with great gore!
There are tons more movies filled with gore out there, but you asked for the goriest and so I say 'Guinea Pig Vol.3: Flower of flesh and blood'. Well that's the goriest I have seen so far!

there tons of kinds of gory movies. Dead Alive and Ricky both are kind of corny, Ichi, had alot of cgi gore, and untold story, IMHO looked pretty realistic. Most gore in a movie i think is Dead Alive, Ricky, Evil Dead. But i think the Beyond is one of the tops on my "gore list"

Watch a cheapy German Splat flik by Ittenbach or Schnaas. Or some Todd Sheets film ( if you can bear em )

Do a search option in Eurohorror and you should fine at least one Topic pertaining to Buio Omega... I'm too lazy to do it for you. The same can be said for Untold Story in Asian Horror
