Is Hitch Hike any good? I'm a David Hess fan. I saw House by the Edge of the Park the other week and I liked it.

When I met David Hess at a movie convention,a few years ago,he told me that HITCH-HIKE was his favorite,of the films he was in. I think it's a very cool exploitation drama.

PLOT- Franco Nero & Corrine Clery are a married couple,on a road trip. They're having personal problems...he drinks too much, and she's a bitch. Things get worse when they run into Hess and his two psycho buddies. Very cool movie

Got to see this lost gem tonight. I really enjoyed it. Well directed (Loved how the scenes of violence were shot), pretty good preformances (Corinne Clery is just beautiful) and I Loved the music by Ennio Morricone.

The Anchor Bay Disc looks Great!! You would never know this was a hardly heard of Italian film made in 1978. The picture is wonderful to look at. The Special Features are slim but good. With interviews by all three actors who all look foundly on this film.

I found the disc for 9.99 and it was well worth it. Check it out if you can.

Where'd you get such a great deal? I haven't really shopped around for this title, but when I've seen it the price has been closer to $20.

I'm not surprised : Best Buys has the best friggin' prices I've ever seen. Last time I went to the U.S. I bought a whole pile of great DVDs there for only 90 bucks.

I'll have to checkout that Hitch Hike DVD. I love the flick but haven't seen it in years.

My best buy (at nearly 60 miles away) doesn't carry much, barely any of the euro-cult titles. And apparently there is a Gialliste fan because I found the Giallo box set over there one day, and the very next hour I went to pick it up it was gone!

Every store around me overcharges, would you believe A Samn Goody's over hear is chargin $50 for the Tox Box! But luckily I did fid The Awful dr Orloff for a scant $10 so that evened that out.

Now what were we talking about again?

My nearest Best Buy is about an hour to hour and a half drive. It's also the place where I've purchased a great deal of my collection. Still, I'm not crazy about making the drive.

Luckily they're building one even as we speak that will be only about twenty minutes away.

Definitely top 5 exploitation material. Franco Nero dominates the screen even with Hess rivaling him. Wonderful, grim, gritty story.
