I’ve just seen one of the more enjoyable films to come out of Japan in the last half decade. Summer Time Machine Blues is a little comedy about a highschool scifi that sone day finds a time machine in their club room. They immediately start using it for trivial and pointless things which leads to a series of paradoxes which they must then figure out.
This one is from the director of Space Travelers another of my favorite Japanese comedies of the recent past. STMB doesn’t have the bittersweet ting of space travelers, so its operating on a much lighter note. I found a fan-subbed version, and I don’t think its Japanese release has English subs, but its really worth tracking down.

Saw that one a while ago (before moving) after you recommended it 
Good stuff, imho. A time travel movie with more realism than most. Gotta love the Vidal Sasoon references
