It has been a LONG time since I last posted here. However I still lurk about from time to time.
I thought I'd mention to whomever is interested that I completed a Supernatural-themed Horror short (my first) back in August of 2007. And so far it has gotten into 5 mostly Horror-based film festivals around the globe (2 in the USA - Racine, Wisconsin & Miami, Florida respectively; 1 in Ontario, Canada; 1 in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and 1 in Athens, Greece) and recently won my first award at the small indie festival in Miam, Florida - hopefully I'll get into more festivals before this year is over. My short is titled "(spek.ter)"!
You can read my MYSPACE BLOGS for ALL of the behind-the-scenes journals from Pre-production & Production (in the "Older" Blog section) through the latest journal announcement (in the "Newer" Blog section) of an article that features me & my short on the House Of Horrors main page, titled "Ode To The Independent Horror Filmmaker" - which was written by THE FAN GIRL NEXT DOOR!!!

GG that is awesome. I didn't even put 2 and 2 together and relize one of my favorite horrorspeakers was now an up and coming filmmaker.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I very recently found out about some of the changes to the HOH site. But I am glad you are still here, keeping watch over your baby.
It's been a LONG ride since 1996, when I first joined this board on your previous servers and witnessing and partipating in some of the battles you've had to endure with rival boards or the occasional drama that flared up between certain members (still remembering the obviously now silly arguments of Laserdisc vs DVD debates I was once a part of way back when) etc. - the good ole days!!!
And yes! I was in the Academy of Art College Motion Picture/Video program during that entire time from 1996 -2000!
Seems like a distant memory now. I'm guessing/hoping we've all grown wiser as we've gotten older!!! I'll be contacting you very shortly!!!
